Vacation sounds amazing until you remember all the prep, snacks, and chaos.
Fall break is almost here, and part of me is dreaming about a fun little getaway. I love making memories with my family, but the prep is a lot. Packing for everyone, arranging cat care, snacks, activities, and all the “extras” for my neurodivergent kiddo… plus bracing for the inevitable meltdowns and curveballs.
By the time we’re ready to leave, I already need a vacation from the vacation.
